Privacy policy
Last updated 22 October 2026
This policy explains what we do with your personal details when you use this website, enquire about the villa, book a stay or sign up for our offers. Villa Olivo is a privately owned holiday villa, and we keep what we ask for to the minimum we need to look after your booking.
Who we are
Villa Olivo is a wheelchair-accessible holiday villa in Jávea, Spain, let by LCMG Property Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 12835557). Our registered office is Second Floor, 3 Liverpool Gardens, Worthing, West Sussex, BN11 1TF. LCMG Property Limited is the data controller for the personal details described here. If you have any questions about this policy or your details, email us at [email protected] or call +44 7455 313533.
Cookies and analytics
We don’t use cookies on this website. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and measure how quickly our pages load. It doesn’t use cookies or collect personal data. We also count, anonymously, when someone taps our phone number, email, WhatsApp or booking links, or sends an enquiry. This only records which kind of link was used, on which page and when. It doesn’t record your IP address, your device or anything you type. When you send an enquiry, we use Brevo to email it to us and send you a confirmation. Some pages include a video from YouTube. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play; the video then plays in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), and Google’s privacy policy applies to it.
What we collect and why
When you send a message through the contact form, we receive your name, email address, phone number if you give it, your message, and the page you sent it from. We use these to reply to you. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry. If our email system fails to pass your message on to us, we keep a copy in our booking database so it isn’t lost, and delete it after 12 months.
When you enquire about dates, we also receive your postal address, your arrival date and length of stay, the number of guests, and anything you tell us about access needs. We use these to check availability, hold your dates and send your booking letters. Our lawful basis is taking steps, at your request, towards a booking contract.
When you complete the booking form, we ask for the names of everyone staying, the ages of anyone under 18, your travel details, and the equipment you need. We use these to prepare the villa and to meet the conditions in our booking terms. Our lawful basis is performing your booking contract.
Health and disability details. The booking form asks about disabilities and access needs, and longer stays may tell us their purpose, such as rehabilitation or respite. This is special category data under UK data protection law. We only use it to make sure the villa and its equipment are right for you, and we only collect it with your explicit consent, which you give when you fill in those questions. You can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us. We will then delete those answers, although it may mean we can’t confirm the villa suits your needs.
When you accept our booking terms, we record the name you type, the version of the terms and the date and time, so there is a record of what was agreed.
When you pay by bank transfer, we record the amount, the date and the booking reference, so we can match your payment to your booking. We don’t take card payments.
When you leave a review after your stay, we publish your review with the display name and town you give us, and the month of your stay, only once you have ticked to agree.
When you sign up for villa offers, we receive your email address and your first name if you give it. We use them to send you occasional news and offers about available weeks. Our lawful basis is your consent, and every email has a link to unsubscribe.
Who we share your details with
We never sell your details. We share them only with the services that help us run the villa:
- Cloudflare hosts this website and stores booking records in its database. It also runs Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that enquiry forms are sent by a person rather than a bot. Turnstile receives your IP address for this check.
- Brevo sends our emails: replies to your enquiries, booking letters and, if you have signed up, our offers. It holds your name, email address and phone number.
- Google provides our calendar. Bookings are added to the owner’s calendar with your name, contact details, number of guests and access needs, so we have them to hand.
- WhatsApp (owned by Meta) is used only if you choose to message us there.
Some of these services may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they protect it with safeguards recognised by UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep your details
We keep enquiries that don’t become bookings for 12 months, then delete them. We keep booking and payment records for 6 years after your stay, because UK tax law requires us to keep business records for that long. Health, disability and access details from your booking form are deleted 12 months after your stay. If you sign up for offers, we keep your email address until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal details we hold about you, to have them corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use them, and to receive them in a format you can take elsewhere. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To use any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have used your details, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the “Last updated” date at the top.
