Is my passport valid for Spain?
Since Brexit, UK passports have to meet two Schengen rules. Enter your trip dates and the dates in each passport, and we'll check them for everyone in your group.

Passports
The date of issue and expiry date are on the photo page.
The two rules
Issued less than 10 years ago
Your passport's date of issue must be less than 10 years before the day you arrive. Many passports renewed before October 2018 have extra months added, so their issue date can be more than 10 years old even when the expiry date looks fine.
Valid for 3 months after you leave
Your expiry date must be at least 3 months after the day you plan to leave the Schengen area. Those extra months do count towards this rule.
And the 90/180 rule
Your stay must also fit within 90 days in any 180. Check your days with our Schengen calculator.
Based on UK government travel advice for Spain. Airlines check passports before you board, so if yours fails either rule, renew it before you travel. Allow plenty of time for HM Passport Office.
Email me my results
We'll email you your trip dates and, for each passport, the result of both rules and the latest dates it works for. Names aren't included.
We use your email address only to send this one email. We don't keep it or your answers, and we don't add you to any mailing list. See our privacy policy.
